In “in Dutch please” the theme culture shock is explored in 6 short scenes. Young people from Eritrea, Afghanistan, Syria, Gambia and the Netherlands create funny, and positive scenes. These are created by the players themselves, and based on their own experiences. Most of the actors have only been in the Netherlands for 2 years, but their experiences are recognisable, amusing, or poignant. One thing is clear though: the differences between us are smaller than we think!
